Rom com fans, we have good news for you - Trinkets season 2 is now streaming on Netflix! Trinkets is based on the young adult novel, written by Kirsten ‘Kiwi’ Smith (advisor of Rom Com Fest and writer of rom com classics including 10 Things I Hate About You, Legally Blonde + more). Kiwi is also the creator and an Executive Producer of the show. The story follows three friends who meet in Shoplifter’s Anonymous.

We chatted with Kiwi about season 2 and she said that rom com fans will like Trinkets because there are a lot of juicy unexpected romantic stories this season. Also, it’s a love story about the three friends and the heart of the story is the question “will they or won’t they” be best friends from their meet-cute in episode one all the way through the final episode of season two. Kiwi wanted the story to be just as emotional as our favorite classic rom coms are - and we trust Kiwi with our rom com hearts.

Trinkets was nominated for four daytime Emmys and won 2 including “Outstanding Young Adult Program” and “Outstanding Writing for a Children's or Young Adult Program.” The three leads, Elodie (Brianna Hildebrand), the grieving misfit; Moe (Kiana Madeira), the mysterious outsider; and Tabitha (Quintessa Swindell) the imperfect picture of perfection, are dynamic together and make it so you have to watch the next episode right away.

If you’re a fan of Kiwi’s writing (10 Things I Hate About You… I mean who isn’t?!), then you aren’t going to want to miss Trinkets! If you want an inside scoop on the show, read Kiwi’s interview with Hollywood Life.
